Park Board Nomination Petitions
Five Park District Commissioners seats are open for election on April 4, 2017. Four elected positions serve a full-term (four-year term) and one elected position serves a two-year unexpired term.
Those interested in serving on the Board can pick up nomination petitions at the Park District’s Recreation Center Guest Service Desk, 355 W. Washington Avenue, Lake Bluff (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) beginning September 20, 2016.
For a candidate to be placed on the ballot, completed nomination petitions must be turned into the Recreation Center Guest Service Desk during the following hours:
December 12-16 – 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
December 17 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
December 19 – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Lake Bluff Park District is a governmental agency and governed by seven elected commissioners who set policy for the Executive Director and the District's operations.
