Mary Sample Mary is certified as a personal trainer and in Lifestyle & Weight Management. Her areas of specialty are strength & core training with an emphasis on endurance sports, specifically long distance running. Mary herself is an avid runner and has completed two marathons, and participates in road races on a regular basis... in that vein, she doesn't mind joining clients on the track/treadmill for long runs or shorter sprints. Her motto is that exercise can be fun and doesn't have to feel like a chore, and that sometimes a friendly voice saying 'you can do it' can make all the difference. Clients' workouts are varied and dynamic, often interspersing bursts of cardio with strength training circuits. Contact Mary (ACE 2007) directly at 847-370-5518 or rufesqui@hotmail.com.

Judy Sneyd Judy has been in the fitness industry since 1997. She is a certified personal trainer as well as a certified group instructor teaching Spin©, strength and Pilates. She believes that exercise is best when it is scheduled into your week, such as a doctor's appointment. Consistency and accountability are key. She can help you achieve your fitness goals whether it be a one on one basis or group session. She has worked with general fitness, prenatal and postnatal, post rehab and seniors. Contact Judy (ISSA 1999) directly at 847-224-2903 or judysneyd@gmail.com.
Sprite Sprite has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor since 2001. She continues to learn in every way possible. Being fit is a lifestyle choice not a size or shape-her goal is to help clients find strengths they didn't know they have and let go of self-defeating habits. Exercise should be as fun as possible, as there are days when it's the last thing you want to do, so the more fun and effective the better. Sprite believes that weights strengthen both mind and body and there is science to back up her belief. The older we get the more vulnerable we can become, the more we do the more we 'can' do. Sprite's goal is to help clients be able to do more than they thought they could.

Rick Tomei Rick, a Certified (ACSM) Health Fitness Specialist, offers the functional movement screen. The screen identifies the weak link in the kinetic chain. The core is the foundation of the body. When the body compensates due to core dysfunction, incorrect body mechanics cause pain or injury. Usually this pain is in the joints. Optimal core performance relies first on a mobile and stable body. Testing for mobility and stability is a good starting point for a balanced training and conditioning program. The functional movement screen takes about ten minutes and evaluates core stability, joint mobility, and symmetry (right side / left side) differences. Rick will be happy to help you identify functional weakness and prescribe corrective exercise strategies to clean up your movement patterns. Contact Rick (ACSM 2000) directly at 847-567-1170 or ricktomei@yahoo.com.
