The Lesson Program
The children will have so much fun learning the basics of the game, they might not even realize they are in an instructional class designed to develop their racquet skills, help them gain confidence in their hand-eye coordination and learn the nuances of the sport. There will be an emphasis on camaraderie, cooperation, sportsmanship and proper paddle etiquette. There will a 5-to-1 maximum student to pro ratio. In addition, Park District ARC staff will pick them up at school at 3:00 pm to walk over to the paddle courts on regular school days. It is the parents' responsibility to inform the LBES (giving them written permission) that their child will be walking with the ARC kids.

Children in this class will enjoy fast paced drills emphasizing match strategy, shot targeting, positioning, teamwork and specialty shots. There will also be an emphasis on camaraderie, cooperation, sportsmanship and proper paddle etiquette. There will a 5- to-1 maximum student to pro ratio. Children from this group are invited to play on the LB Junior Paddle Team.

High School Lessons

Junior Travel Team
The Junior Travel Team is a fun and competitive program for 3rd graders and older. The team will have matches against other local clubs. There will be a team practice on weeks that no match is scheduled. Both the matches as well as the practices will be instructional match play.

Friday Junior Night Out Paddle & Pizza Socials
Come out for an amazingly fun time on the courts!! We will play tons of thrilling paddle games and have dinner, 'Ya gotta love it!' Parents can socialize in the hut by the fire with their BYOB drink of choice, while the kids enjoy the great outdoors. Please note that some Friday Junior Night’s may have special themes where the children get to take prizes or candy home with them. There is a $3 additional fee for special theme nights.
