Pathways A transition to Kindergarten 5 years by December 31, 2011 Our Pre-Kindergarten is designed for the child who has missed the cut-off for Kindergarten or is perhaps not ready for the next step on their pathway through life's journey. Our curriculum will expose children to simple math concepts such as identifying the days of the week, months, numbers, sets, assembling and identifying patterns, and valuing coins. Simple science, creative art, music exploration and basic social studies will also be introduced. Some of the reading skills will include exploring rhyming, identifying letters and their sounds, sharing ideas. Many hands-on activities will encourage children to be independent thinkers, problem solvers and more socially well-rounded.
